Hi everyone,
Today was test day. If you haven't yet handed in the dynamics review (handed out prior to the test) please do so as term 2 is coming to an end!

Hi Class,I hope you all enjoyed your snow day! I sure did!
Anyhow, today we will start our review (send me an email if you need a copy). This will be handed in next Thursday. The numerical answers are posted in class. Next Thursday will be our Dynamics test covering all our sections up until this point. In other exciting news, in about 2 weeks Mr. Chomitz (our wonderful SFU student teacher and master of the physics) will be taking over for a few lessons to teach you about work, energy, and power. Hi Everyone,
Dynamics Quiz today. It'll likely take all block (some quiz, eh?) Hi Everyone,
Sorry for the delay in posting. Since we've last spoke, the class has completed everything up until 4.9. Section 4.9 is a separate set of notes that was handed out today. Next Wednesday (yes, Wednesday) we will have a quiz (6 mc and 2 written problems) on everything from 4.1 to 4.8. Come see me if you've missed anything lately. HI everyone,
Today we looked at section 4.6 (Friction). No tests or quizzes anytime soon, but please attempt the practice problems in your notes (answer key posted in class) Hey everyone,
I hope you had a great break. Only 10 weeks until the next one! Today we will look at a very important concept that will follow us through most of the term. Free body diagrams! Just like you had to sketch a picture for kinematic problems, you will often need to create a free body diagram for your dynamics questions. Hi Everyone!
You have made it to Dynamics! I think many of you will find this particular section more interesting than our previous section on kinematics and projectiles, that being said, all the wonderful stuff you've learned up until this point will stay with us and we will continue to build upon it. Rather at looking at how objects move, we will start looking at why objects move. Today we will look at 4.1 (maybe 4.2) on forces, and more specifically, the force of gravity Hi everyone,
Last big mental challenge (in our class at least) before the break. Today we are having our projectile quiz. Good luck! Hi Physics kiddos,
Today we are doing our final review before our projectiles test/quiz. The assessment will be out of 20. 6 multiple choice and 2 written questions (worth 7 marks each). If you need a copy of the review come see me (review will not be handed in). Quiz/Test will be THIS Thursday. Today we will be looking at a thought experiment. This is a classic case study of the monkey and the hunter. If you were not here in class, please find a copy attached below.
