Hi Everyone, Today we will finish the assignment on finding epicenters as well as starting a set of notes on volcanoes. Pretty topical seeing how there is a big news story about hawaii... https://globalnews.ca/news/4186529/hawaii-volcano-eruption-evacuation-big-island/?utm_source=Other&utm_medium=MostPopular&utm_campaign=2014 Hi Everyone,
Today we'll be taking a closer look at (notes on) earthquakes and do a little activity about finding the epicenter. Hi Class,
Today is a little odd as only one of our grade 8 classes has science today (the other class will be in the auditorium for student council speeches). As a result, one block will start watching the "raging earth: earthquake" video as well as an additional video on tsunamis. Our second block will finish the videos next class. Hi Class,
Today we'll look at the interaction at plate boundaries and start watching our episode of "Raging Earth: Earthquakes" Don't forget I'll see you again on Monday Hi Grade 8s!
Today I'll give you some more time to finish off your map of pangea. We'll then take some notes on tectonic plates and start watching a video on earthquakes. Hi class,
Today we will hand in our review and complete our test on chapter 6. Hi Class,
Today we will be doing our chapter 6 review to get ready for our test next day (April 18). Good luck with your studying! Hey class. Today we're looking at how to extend human vision. (section 6.2) this is the last section before we have our review and test.
Hi Class,
Sorry to have been away today. I heard you were great! Well done. You should have completed you lab questions with your group and watched a documentary on the evolution of the eyeball (pretty cool, eh?) |
