Hello my wonderful physics students,
Today we are just completing the practice problems we (sort-of) started last class in section 3.2. If you are not hear today, make sue you attempt them, they are already in your notes. Thanks!

Hi Everyone,
Today we are starting Unit 3 - Projectiles. The good news is this section builds upon everything we've looked at so far (motion with and without acceleration and vectors). So there really isn't anything new to learn! We just need to look at new strategies for approaching these questions. Sorry everyone, late post!
Today we wrote our quiz on vectors. I will try to get this back to you ASAP, although there will still be a number of people who have to finish it. please make sure any old/missing work is in before November 30th if you want it to count towards term 1's grade. Hi everyone,
Today we are doing some review problems for our upcoming Vector quiz (next class). Please be aware that there is a mistake on the first page of the review problems. The example has the resultant vector drawn in the wrong direction. Other than that it should be fine. Hi everyone,
Today we will do one question together before starting our notes on component vectors. We will do an example and then you have the rest of the class to work on the practice (in the notes) and to prepare for our upcoming quiz on vectors this FRIDAY November 23. Hi everyone,
Today we are looking at adding (and to a lesser extent) subtracting vectors. We will use our trig skills we practiced last day combined with some basic kinematics to answer classic questions about boats moving across rivers. Fun stuff! Hi everyone,
Welcome back from the long weekend. Today we looked at a basic review of trigonometry. You should be very, very, VERY familiar with finding missing sides and angles for right angle triangles. We also looked very briefly at cosine law, which may show up for extra tricky problems. We then handed back our tests from last day. Hi Everyone,
Today is our test on Kinematic Equations. You've had lots of practice so I am quite confident in your abilities! Morning everyone,
Today is our last block to study before our Kinematics equations test. I will give you a review to work on, but you wont need to hand it in. I will also try to hand back your problem set 2 tooday. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns before the test! Morning! Today we'll be finishing up our notes on Free Fall and getting in some practice. Don't forget that next class will be a review and the class after that will be our test on the Kinematic Equations.
